Heart to Heart Grief Support
Tuesdays, October 16 – December 4
10-11am OR 6-7:30pm
“Blessed are those that mourn,
for they shall be comforted.”
Grief is a normal response to the loss of a loved one to death. Heart to Heart Grief Support class is designed to assist you in understanding and moving through the grieving process by: receiving the support of others who are also living with grief; allowing you to express your thoughts and feelings in a confidential, safe, and supportive environment; and helping you discover tools for coping and ways to keep loved ones present in your heart while you rebuild hope for your future.
The group, facilitated by Barbara Olson and Linda Solheim, is open to anyone; you do not have to be a member of La Casa de Cristo. Please share this information with friends who may need loving support. Call Barbara with questions at 480-600-2272.

Joseph and His Crazy Colored Coat
Fridays, September 14 – November 16
Joseph had it made – he had a brand-new, beautiful colored coat that made him the envy of his ten older brothers, he was the apple of his father’s eye, and when he went to sleep at night, he dreamt of himself as the center of the universe. But jealousy can fill people’s hearts with evil thoughts and deeds. Betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery, Joseph ended up in faraway Egypt where he was purchased by Potiphar, the manager of Pharaoh’s household. Joseph’s story unfolds with more twists and turns and ups and downs than a roller coaster. Would he languish in slavery forever? Would he ever see his early dreams fulfilled? Would he forgive his brothers for what they had done to him?
For answers to these and other questions, and to see how this story relates to us, join Liz Lucas to look at the incredible life of Joseph found in the book of Genesis. Classes are open to all adults and there is never any homework.
Also offered Sunday at 9:15 am beginning Sept. 16.
