Aligned with God

April 21, 2020

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky. Philippians 2:14-15

One of the many changes in my life during this quarantine, is the absence of going to the gym.

I am being creative and doing different things, but it has caused me to change my workout and I have become very sore lately.

I would love to go to the chiropractor or physical therapist to have them adjust me.

Have you ever been to a chiropractor or physical therapist?

I recently heard Jud Wilhite talk about this on K-love.They lay you on a table to manipulate and adjust your body. They find muscles you didn’t even know you had. You may feel some pain while they do their adjusting. They do this in order to get your body in alignment and to help alleviate pain or at least have less pain and a stronger body.

Sometimes our attitude needs an adjustment.

Philippians 2 says

14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing,15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[c] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.”

Don’t adjust your attitude to the pain of life, to the pain of disappointment of things being canceled or to the pain of loneliness.

Adjust your life to God’s provisions and to God’s promises.
Adjust your life to God’s priorities.
Adjust your life to be aligned with God.

It might hurt a little bit and He might ask you to bend in a way you don’t want to bend, but ultimately a life aligned with God is the healthiest and strongest lives you can live.
