“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,” Hebrews 6:19
Boats and ships come in all sizes. Small boats are used for an individual whereas enormous aircraft carriers act as small cities while out at sea. They all have at least one thing in common, an anchor. The anchor gives the boat or ship its ability to stay in one place no matter what the body of water is doing.
As Christians, our anchor should be to our faith in God. It’s important to not give up when the storms of life become challenging for us. A good boat captain would not head out on a journey without checking all of the boat’s equipment first. We as Christians should not venture out without being secured to God and anchored to His word.
Here are a few ways to stay anchored to God:
1)Start your day off in devotions
2)Share what you have learned about your faith (even, if it is something simple)
3) Reach out to a friend or family member that you have not spoken to and tell them you care for them

The church (God) is my foundation. My hymn suggestion, too. Thank you for the devotions.
