Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32
My children can go from being the best of friends to the greatest enemies within minutes. My mantra in our household is “be kind.” And we ALWAYS discuss forgiveness. We continually work on our “I’m sorrys” and our “I forgive yous.” Sometimes, however, it’s more difficult to practice what you preach. I’m cognizant of my children learning these basic principles, but how about us as adults? Do we practice forgiveness and the simple act of being “kind to one another” in our daily lives? God directs us to be kind and tenderhearted to each other and forgiveness is key. It’s not only a necessity for siblings who argue over LEGOS, but it’s also a necessity for you and me.
