About the Speaker
Wendy Hagen
Hello La Casa de Cristo friends! I am excited to be back with you again! For those of you who slept through my previous visits, here is a bit about me:
I have not authored a million books (only one) because I am busy raising teenagers and working for a non-profit, speaking to thousands of students and parents each year in the San Francisco Bay area. Plus, the dogs. Cant forget I have two dogs named “Shiner” and “Sibby the Jerk.” And a husband named Shiloh (not a jerk). And so much laundry and dishes.
Prior to my laundry and dishwashing gigs, I was a child/teen actress and left Hollywood at the end of high school with no criminal record. I went to UCLA and earned a degree in Communication Studies, which I now use to try and get my three teenagers to respond to my texts, but it seems as though that would require a doctorate.
In my free time, I love speaking to women about real life stuff, telling funny stories, and introducing people to Jesus. I cannot wait to spend the weekend with you (bring your friends whether they are church-y people or not!), laughing, sharing stories, and hearing from God’s Word. Please note: I stink at crafts, so if there is a breakout craft session, I AM NOT YOUR GIRL.
