Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow. James 1:17 (Living Bible)
Do you remember being a child and asking someone you loved to promise that they would do something important for you? Even to a child the word promise provided the assurance that what you wanted was guaranteed.
Are we no different today when we struggle and wish for life to be better? Is it at these times that we look to God for His help and comfort? One of the most life changing experiences I’ve ever had was when I realized that the Bible, God’s Word to me, is filled with His promises. Through His Word I have learned that He has promised to always be with me, that He is a good God and will protect and direct my life, and that He faithfully watches over me. What I have learned to do is to claim these promises! By doing this, I feel His presence and through His faithfulness, my trust in Him grows exponentially. He is my source of peace each and every day.
I hope you enjoy connecting with us on Friday nights during our Youth Lives Stream Event. If you missed welcoming the 7th grade, you can check it out HERE. The Busch Family did a great job on their Crib segment. Zoom was a ton of fun! I pray you are all staying healthy! Matthew 5:17, “let your light shine before all men that they may see your good deeds and praise the father in heaven.” Until we meet again, remember I am only a phone call away. Suzan
