“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17
My grandfather Chester had a favorite saying “Celebrate Everything.” He would look for the good in every moment to find something to celebrate. We would celebrate fixing a broken sprinkler with having a rootbeer float. Pastor Jeff recently gave a sermon that touched on a similar idea: finding “hidden blessings” around us.
If we look for the bad around us it is easy to see, especially during these uncertain and changing times. By changing our mindset and looking for the good all around us and celebrating everything, we can make ourselves happier.
Here are some ideas to help us celebrate everything. 1) When you wake up, you can say “God thank you for today.” 2) Stop to smell the beautiful flowers that are blooming 3) Send an encouraging note to someone else.
God wants us to celebrate and He always celebrates with us!
