Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34
Growing up in New Jersey, about half an hour out of New York City, I was fortunate to be able to see many Broadway musicals. I’m a fan of the music from many different shows. One of my favorite songs, “All Good Gifts,” is from Godspell.
“All good gifts around us, are sent from Heaven above
So thank the Lord, oh, thank the Lord for all his love.”
Then later in the song:
“No gifts have we to offer for all Thy love imparts
But that which Thou desirest, our humble thankful hearts.”
God is good. God is love. Take a moment to experience the beauty of His creation, His great goodness, and never ending love. Then thank Him with a humble heart for all He is and all He has done.
