Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
One definition of the word peace is “freedom from disturbance; tranquility.” Another definition says peace is “a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended.”
During these difficult times, peace may seem hard to obtain. But we are not to rely upon ourselves, for Jesus says in John 14:27 “Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Even after I read this verse I needed to remind myself that God sees the BIG picture and He alone can guide us toward peace.
I pray for you to feel God’s comfort and let not your hearts be troubled. God is always good
