God Guides Us

January 4, 2021

For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.  Psalm 32:7

Physically, it’s difficult to find a place where you can truly hide. Someone will always find you, whether it’s kids, husband, boss, or even the cell phone. It’s almost as if their radar goes off whenever you want to find a moment alone.

Yet spiritually, there is one place you can always go to get away from all people and all worry. It’s in God’s presence. Once there, you find yourself surrounded with not just love and encouragement but with songs of victory.

God is your biggest cheerleader and best coach. He says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you” (Psalm 32:8).

His only request is that you not be stubborn when He tells you which way to go and what do to do. But that’s a small price to pay to live in victory.

Lord, I come to hide in You. Save me, guide me. Make me putty in Your hands. Amen
