She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25
Yesterday we attended the dedication of our granddaughter. This is the verse her parents chose for her dedication. As I thought about it I felt that it was a great verse for all of us to use in these troubling times.
Knowing that God is in control, let us all be clothed in His strength as we face life’s challenges. Let us rely on Him for that strength. Let us try to have dignity and integrity and be open-minded as we confront others with opinions that are different than ours. Let us be kind in the face of mean-spiritedness. Lord, bless us with empathy. And, whatever the future holds, let us laugh and be joyful in the present, knowing He loves and cares for us all, now and forever.
