God Loves You

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19 NIV

I pray this prayer for you. I pray that each day, through everything, you will be able to see God’s glory and all his doings. That you see Him through his words and His children, for each one was crafted in His image.

I want to highlight especially, from this passage, “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have the power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledgethat you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

To know such a love seems almost unfathomable. But He chose us. He chose you and He chose me. So much so that He gave his only son to save us from our sins, knowing fully the sins we would commit. Nothing we do, good or bad, will change the way that He loves us.

I challenge you to think on this today, to think about what “God loves you” truly means. I also challenge you to pray the prayer in Ephesians 3:14-19 for someone you know who needs a little extra love today. Hope you have a wonderful day today!
