“For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.”1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
This message is so great! It is a summary of what Christianity is all about. We are not a people who believe that God is only about wrath and punishment. We know God as one who gives salvation!
Our God is about life and joy. Christianity is not a fearful religion of hiding from an angry God. Christianity is about celebrating our God of life!
YOU have been appointed to receive salvation from God! It is a beautiful thing!
There is no news that can come our way that would outweigh the salvation that God delivers to us. There is no virus, no bad news, no job loss, no economic downturn, that could outweigh the SALVATION that comes through Christ. His ways are about LIFE. Not even death itself can conquer Christ Jesus – for He rises from the dead!
Our God reigns!
