“And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.” Matthew 18:5
Heavenly Father, we anxiously await the beginning of a new school year, which will usher in a new group of precious children to the preschool. Each child is eager to learn and be loved. Most importantly, each one represents the opportunity for us to teach them of Your love. We strive always to provide them with the knowledge that they can be secure in that love without question. It is our right, privilege and obligation to do so.
Please keep the children in Your care until, and while, they are entrusted to our care. With unshakable faith, we accept this responsibility and will welcome them to the preschool as we look forward to growing in God’s love together. In Your holy name we pray, Amen.
