The Lord will be your everlasting light. Isaiah 60:20
Most of my days are filled with light. But sometimes, I have a dark moment.
For some, there may seem to be more dark moments (or even days days) than light ones right now. I think we have all been there at some point in our lives. Adjusting to this new change isn’t easy. We all have different battles we are walking through.
In our family, we are navigating online school with the two older kids, a rambunctious (yeah, that’s the word) 20 month old, while working two full time jobs. Patience is a struggle, “me” time is non-existent and being in the same house, all the time can be trying.
In these moments of darkness, I am blessed to remember my light, God. Dark moments are temporary, but God’s love and light is eternal. It NEVER stops, NEVER leaves us and is ALWAYS with us. He is our joy, our hope and our light.
In the moments where you struggle ,I challenge you to look to God’s light. Find something in your life that is good. Search your heart for a gift God has given you and cling to it. Most importantly, cling to God’s love. He is with us, He loves us and His light is everlasting.
