LA CASA Hi

Our programs are designed to love those who don’t know Jesus and grow those that do.

  Welcome to La Casa Hi

About The La Casa Hi Program

The La Casa Hi program is all about helping students embark on a lifelong journey with Jesus. We craft our weekly gatherings and adventures to be a fusion of worship and pure, unadulterated fun, fostering connections with friends while nurturing a deepening love for Jesus.

Our crew’s ultimate aim?

Creating a supportive peer ecosystem where we dive headfirst into life’s real challenges, all while exploring the teachings of Jesus in a way that empowers each one of us to shine.

We want to see students, graduate with an unwavering faith in Jesus and a profound grasp of the wisdom found within the pages of the Bible.

Parent Trip Meeting Recap

Thank you to all the awesome parents that were able to make it out yesterday. I really appreciate your time. I hope that the information shared was helpful to you and your family as you make 2024 plans. 🙂 For those that had a conflict (many of you reached out and let me know ahead of time, thank you for that) I went ahead and recorded a quick video walking you through what you missed. I would recommend reading through the packets and then setting aside 25 minutes to watch the video. Here is a link to access the video and packets: Click HERE If you have any questions, please connect with me. I’m happy to help. Cell: 605-415-3376

Get Connected

The Get Connected event is this coming Sunday, September 24th from 9-12 pm. This is a great opportunity to tour each ministry offered at La Casa in a FUN way. We will not have Hi service that morning but I’m asking any and all Hi students (and parents) to wear their white T-shirts (to promote our ministry) and come have some FUN with me. I will be leading games in between the buildings. Don’t worry you won’t be able to miss me. Follow the LOUD music. See you there!

Hide and Seek

Friday September 29th from 7-9 pm. Meet in 205 to start.

Hi Student Support

My goal each week is to attend as many student events that I possibly can. In the last two weeks I supported James at his robotics tournament, Van at his football game, Lucy at her volleyball game, Ian at his hockey game, Katie at her volleyball game, Ashlyn at her yoga class (yes I did yoga), and Preston at his half time show. We definitely have some amazingly talented hi students! But, you already know that. 🙂 I share all that to say that I want to attend your event (your students event) but, I need your help. I won’t know you have an event unless you tell me. So send me your schedules and I will let you know when I plan on getting to your thing! You can always text me and let me know at 605-415-3376.

Parenting Discussion Group

This semester La Casa Family is offering a parenting discussion group on Sundays at 9:15 am. We will be studying Parenting: Getting IT Right by Andy and Sandra Stanley (See book below) We would love you to be a part of it! Don’t forget to Register if you plan on attending.;)

  Meet our High School Director

Ryan Callahan

Meet Ryan Callahan- the energetic and fun-loving youth leader who’s always ready to inspire and engage youth and families!

Whether he’s leading a high-energy worship service, planning a fun and meaningful outreach event, or simply hanging out with the youth group, Ryan is always focused on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

With his infectious enthusiasm and sense of humor, he knows how to connect with young people on a deep level, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop a strong sense of purpose and faith.

Above all, Ryan is a role model for his young charges, showing them what it means to live a life of integrity, compassion, and service to others. So if you’re looking for a youth director who’s not afraid to have some fun while still imparting deep and meaningful truths, look no further than Ryan!

When he’s not diligently leading his ministry, you can find him cherishing memorable moments with his beloved adopted children, Annabeth and Silver. He has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and is often found immersed in books covering a vast array of topics. When he’s not lost in the pages, he’s busy concocting his next exciting adventure, eagerly anticipating the thrill of a new experience!

He’d love to meet you, shoot him an email and invite him to coffee 😉
