We had a wonderful escape to the wilderness of Prescott Arizona @ UCYC to connect with God and each other and rediscover prayer and God’s love.
We explored our prayer transcripts, including our questions and hopes for what could come from prayer. We experienced Bon Jovi, living on a lifestyle of prayer. A dogs relationship to its master exemplified reverence and humility, two character traits Jesus teaches his followers to exhibit in prayer. We heard about a variety of ways to pray, learning that prayers on fleek to God must be sincere and from the heart. Finally, we experienced God’s AGAPE love, the highest form of love, selfless and unconditional, that can be found in prayer. We may never grasp how wide, how long, how high, and how deep is God’s AGAPE love for us, but we can be overflowing with it, be transformed by it, and transform the world with it.
