Israel and the Church

Israel is a “hot topic” whether it is on the agenda at the United Nations or the subject of conversation among friends. This class will examine what God’s Word says about Israel – both its past history and in prophecy. We’ll cover the fascinating story of how Israel became a nation again after nearly 2,000 years.  We will also look at the ongoing struggle for peace and at the ways churches are responding – from boycott/divestment to Christian Zionism – and how we can “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” (Psalm 122:6)
