If you enjoy learning new things, this workshop is for you. If you want to meet new friends, this workshop is for you. If you have varied interests, this workshop is for you. If you want to enjoy a free daytime activity that you can attend when it works into your schedule, this workshop is for you.
Now that we know this is your kind of workshop, let’s look at what types of things are being offered. On the second Tuesday of each month there will be an hour long meeting at 1pm in Room B. A beverage and light snack will be provided.
Future workshops will include, card making, Medicare fraud, herpetology (reptiles), writing, art, and much, more.
If you have a topic that you are interested in but haven’t seen it offered yet, contact Donna Bosley and we will look into getting your creative spirit fed. This monthly class will be facilitated by Barb Solem.
Class Description
Beaded Bookmarks with Shannon Bundschuh
Come join us as we learn techniques to wire wrap beads onto formed wire bookmarks in this fun beading class. Your bookmark will not only be beautiful but functional for use in your bookclub best seller, your favorite journal, daily devotional as well as in your bible.
Shannon Bundschuh is the owner and creative force behind Carry A Torch. She is a silversmith, designing crushworthy jewelry out of her home studio in Scottsdale, Arizona. She holds a BFA with an emphasis in Graphic Design from the University of Arizona. Shannon’s background in many other art mediums—including hand-lettering, computer graphics, sculpture, textiles and painting—all contribute to the color, texture and balance in her creations. A passion for trying new materials and challenging herself is what drove Shannon to try her hand at silversmithing, igniting a flame that has her smitten for good. She quite literally and figuratively carries a torch for this medium. And now in her classes, Shannon is sharing the seductive spark of silversmithing with her fellow artists.

Daddy Daughter Dance is fun night filled with music and dancing. Anthony Xavier will play music all night, while a fathers and daughters dance the night away. There will be a photobooth to take pictures of attendees and picture frame craft for the photos.
