Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. The Lord will work out his plans for my life, for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Psalm 138:7-8
Sometimes life can surprise you. You’re going along your merry way, and then all of a sudden, before you know it, you’re surrounded by trouble. You’re in the thick of a situation you never saw coming. Now you’re more than worried—you’re ready to freak out!
Stop. Take a deep breath, no matter where you are or what you’re doing. Remind yourself that God will protect you. He is protecting you. His power is saving you in that very moment. He’s going to work out everything for you. Why? Because He not only loves you but He has a good plan for your life. All you need to do is trust Him and live it!
Protect me, Lord, when danger steals in. I know You’ll save me. You have a plan! Amen.
