In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. I Peter 1:6-7
We’ve come this far by faith. Walking the road of faith can be challenging.
Writer Ann Lamott says, “Nothing can be delicious when you are holding your breath.”
As it is with faith, nothing can be enjoyed if you are wallowing in the past—live the full life that God has given you. Breathe the air. Be grateful for the beauty surrounding you. If you focus on what is unavailable, what used to be, you will never move forward. Keep the faith!!! We’ve come this far!
