Early Detection and Prevention, equips audiences with life-saving knowledge about recognizing, responding to and preventing strokes.
Participants will learn the difference between ischemic, hemorrhagic, and transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), how to spot the warning signs using the FAST method, and why calling 911 immediately is critical. Through real-life case studies, the session emphasizes time-sensitive treatment and the specialized role of certified stroke centers.
In addition, it highlights prevention strategies grounded in the American Heart Association’s Life’s Essential 8.
