Easter, as told in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, tells the story of how our LORD was crucified on Good Friday by Pontius Pilate at the request of religious leaders. He was buried and on the third day HE was raised from the dead.
This is not just a story that happened to some man long ago, it is the story of our salvation. We celebrate this momemtous turn in human history of being dead in sin to being alive in Jesus!
